Habitat: Maritime and rockland hammocks, shell mounds, coastal berms, coastal strands. Distribution: Peninsular Florida (Brevard County on the east coast and Manatee County on the west coast southwards); West Indies; Mexico (Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Yucatán) and Central America.
