*Psidium guajava Linnaeus. Common name: Guava. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Disturbed areas, hammocks. Distribution: Native of the Neotropics. Reported for most counties in the FL peninsula north to Volusia and Lake counties (Kartesz 2010; Wunderlin & Hansen 2008).

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics

Synonymy : = Bah, Fl4, FNA10, K4, Meso4.1, S, S13, SFla, WH3, WI, Wilson (1960c). Basionym: Psidium guajava L. 1753
