Phlox drummondii Hooker var. peregrina Shinners. Common name: Annual Phlox, Drummond Phlox. Phenology: Apr-Sep. Habitat: Dry sandy soils of roadsides, fields, disturbed areas. Distribution: S. OK south to s. TX, eastwards as an escape from horticultural use.
