*Muehlenbeckia axillaris (Hooker f.) Walpers. Common name: Creeping Wirevine, Sprawling Wirevine, Matted Lignum. Phenology: Dec-Jan. Habitat: Planted horticulturally, rarely escaping and spreading aggressively. Distribution: Native of sw. Australia and New Zealand.

Origin/Endemic status: Australia

Synonymy : = K4; Polygonum axillare Hook.f.; = n/a — RAB, S, S13. Basionym: Polygonum axillare Hook.f. 1847
