Portulaca biloba Urban. Common name: Grit Purslane. Habitat: Outcrops of Altamaha Grit. Distribution: This species has been collected repeatedly on outcrops of the Altamaha Grit in s. GA (Matthews, Faircloth, & Allison 1991); it also occurs in Cuba.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Other Comments: Matthews, Faircloth, & Allison (1991) hypothesize introduction to the United States by hurricane.
