Spermacoce keyensis Small. Common name: Florida Buttonweed. Phenology: Mar-Aug. Habitat: Pinelands. Distribution: S. FL; West Indies. Reported for s. TX (Correll & Johnston 1970).
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: Both S. floridana and S. keyensis were published in 1913; S. keyensis apparently on 11 August and S. floridana on 15 August.
