Spermacoce remota Lamarck. Common name: Woodland Buttonweed. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Wet hammocks, bottomland forests, marshes. Distribution: Sw. GA, s. AL, and FL; Central America, South America, and the West Indies.
