*Gardenia jasminoides J. Ellis. Common name: Gardenia. Habitat: Persistent from horticultural plantings, perhaps spreading (H. Horne, pers. comm., 2014). Distribution: Native of China and Japan.

Origin/Endemic status: E. and se. Asia

Synonymy : = K4, Meso4.2
