not marked as a favorite taxon *Salix ×rubens Schrank. Common name: Crack Willow, Brittle Willow. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Low areas. Distribution: Hybrid of S. alba × fragilis, both native of the Old World. Reported as naturalizing in n. VA (Arlington County and City of Alexandria) by Simmons et al. (2020).
