Nestronia

not marked as a favorite taxon Nestronia umbellula Rafinesque. Common name: Nestronia, Conjurer's-nut, Leechbrush, Indian-olive. Phenology: Apr-Jun; Jul-early Sep. Habitat: Relatively mesic sites in sandhills in the upper Coastal Plain, mesic to dry Piedmont and montane oak forests. Distribution: Sc. VA south and west to sc. GA, se. AL, nc. AL, and sc. TN; disjunct in sc. KY.
