Pombalia verticillata (Ortega) Paula-Souza. Common name: Baby-slippers, Nodding Green-violet. Phenology: Apr-Jun (-Oct). Habitat: Prairies (especially gravelly or sandy), rocky areas, disturbed areas. Distribution: KS and CO south to se. TX, s. TX, NM, AZ, and Mexico.
