Xyris montana Ries. Common name: Northern Yellow-eyed-grass. Phenology: Jul-early Sep. Habitat: Bogs (especially in floating bog mats), poor fens, acidic seepage areas. Distribution: NL west to ON, south to CY, NY (Long Island), ne. PA, s. MI, s. WI, n. MN.
