Carex edwardsiana E.L. Bridges & Orzell. Section: [26ee] Section 22 Griseae. Common name: Edwards Plateau Sedge. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Ravine slopes over calcareous substrates. Distribution: Nearly endemic to the Edwards Plateau, but edging into the Blackland Prairie region.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = ETx1, FNA23, K4, NcTx, NS, POWO. Basionym: Carex edwardsiana E.L.Bridges & Orzell 1989
