Carex folliculata Linnaeus. Common name: Northern Long Sedge. Phenology: May-Jul. Habitat: Bog, boggy forests, high elevation forests (spruce-fir). Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) west to WI, south to nw. SC and n. GA.
