not marked as a favorite taxon Agalinis tenella Pennell. Common name: Delicate Agalinis. Phenology: Sep-Oct; Oct-Nov. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, other dry woodlands. Distribution: South Carolina south to n. Florida, west to Alabama; allegedly disjunct in Amelia County, Virginia. Not believed to be present in North Carolina or Virginia, contrary to reports (Sorrie in Weakley et al. 2017).
