not marked as a favorite taxon Ambrosia porcheri P.D. McMillan & L. Prevost. Common name: Outcrop Ragweed. Phenology: Aug-late Oct. Habitat: In shallow soil mats on granitic domes. Distribution: Apparently endemic to the Piedmont Blue Ridge escarpment region of nw. SC.
