Arctium tomentosum P. Miller. Common name: Cotton Burdock. Phenology: Jul-Nov. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Eurasia. Material purporting to be this taxon from Union County, SC, and the basis of its occurrence in that state, is actually a pubescent form of A. minus.
