Asclepias prostrata W.H. Blackwell. Common name: Prostrate Milkweed. Phenology: Mar-Oct; Jul-Oct (-Dec). Habitat: "Sparse early-successional vegetation on loamy fine sands and fine sandy loams" (Carr 2016). Distribution: S. TX (Tamaulipan Plain: Starr and Zapata counties) and ne. Mexico (TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
