Asplenium plenum E.P. St. John ex Small. Ruffled Spleenwort. Hab: On moist, shaded limestone. Dist: Endemic in n. peninsular FL.
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
Taxonomy Comments: This species is an allotetraploid derived from hybridization between A. verecundum and A. curtissii (itself a hybrid derivative of A. abscissum × verecundum). Its chromosome complement can be symbolized as AVVV.
