Ayenia euphrasiifolia Grisebach ssp. euphrasiifolia. Common name: Eyebright Ayenia. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Pine rocklands, marl prairies, disturbed areas over limestone. Distribution: S. peninsular FL; Cuba.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: Two additional subspecies are restricted to Cuba (Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong 2012).

Synonymy : = POWO, WI; >< Ayenia euphrasiaefolia — S, orthographic variant; < Ayenia euphrasiifolia Griseb. — Fl4, FNA6, K4, NS, WH3, Brizicky (1966); > Ayenia pusilla L. — S, S13, misapplied. Basionym: Ayenia euphrasiifolia Griseb. 1866
