Blitum nuttallianum Schultes. Common name: Povertyweed. Phenology: Mar-Oct. Habitat: In dry and/or alkaline soils; eastwards in disturbed areas, perhaps only a waif. Distribution: Native of c. and w. North America, south to n. Mexico.
