*Bromus briziformis Fischer & C.A. Meyer. Common name: Rattlesnake Brome. Phenology: Late May-Jul. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of w. Asia. Reported as an introduction in ne. North America, south to MD, NJ, PA, DE (Kartesz 1999).

Origin/Endemic status: W. Asia
