Bromus texensis (Shear) A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Texas Brome. Habitat: Thickets. Distribution: Endemic to TX (or possibly also in Mexico) (Diggs et al. 2006).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Synonymy : = ETx1, FNA24, K4, NS, POWO, Tx. Basionym: Bromus purgans L. var. texensis Shear 1900
