2024 has been a banner year for making the best flora we can imagine. We've created:

Callirhoe alcaeoides (Michaux) A. Gray. Pale Poppy-mallow, Plains Winecup. Phen: (Apr-) May-Sep (-Nov). Hab: Calcareous prairies, glades, and other open habitats. Dist: E. NE south through e. and OK to c. TX; disjunct and scattered eastward in IA, MO, AR, nw. LA, IL, s. IN, c. KY, c. TN, and c. AL (Dorr 1990).
