Carex fumosimontana D. Estes. Section: [26r] Section 13 Phacocystis. Smoky Mountain Sedge. Phen: Jun-Jul; Jul-Aug. Hab: Seepages at high elevations. Dist: Endemic to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Cocke and Sevier counties, TN, Swain County, NC), specifically Clingmans Dome, Mount LeConte, and Mount Guyot.
