Carex glaucescens Elliott. Section: [26x] Section 17a Glaucescentes. Blue Sedge, Southern Waxy Sedge. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Blackwater swamps, pocosins, wet pine savannas, seepage bogs, depression ponds, pondcypress savannas, other acid and peaty situations. Dist: E. MD south to c. peninsular FL, west to e. TX and se. OK (Buthod & Hoagland 2013); disjunct in nw. GA (Jones & Coile 1988) and c. TN.
