Carex leptonervia (Fernald) Fernald. Section: [26bb] Section 19 Laxiflorae. Common name: Nerveless Woodland Sedge. Phenology: May-Jun. Habitat: Nutrient-rich forests, such as rich, seepy northern hardwoods forests. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland) west to MN, south to NJ, PA, IN, and WI, and in the Appalachians south to NC and SC (L.L. Gaddy, pers.comm., 2009).
