Carex leptalea Wahlenberg var. leptalea . Section: [26mmm] Section 46 Leptocephalae. Bristly-stalk Sedge. Phen: May-Jun. Hab: Bogs, seeps, usually in saturated conditions with Sphagnum spp. Dist: NL (Labrador) west to AK, south to NC, TN, MO, SD, NM, and CA.
