*Carex spicata Hudson. Section: [26d] Section 4.0 Phaestoglochin. Phen: May-Jul. Hab: Fields, lawns, cracks in sidewalks. Dist: Native of Europe and w. Asia. Reported as south to s. NJ, n. DE, c. MD. VA reports said to be erroneous in FNA, but correct records have happened since.

Synonymy: = C, F, FNA23, G, Il, K1, K3, Mi, NE, NY, Pa, Mackenzie (1931-1935)
