Carex intumescens Rudge var. intumescens . Section: [26rr] Section 31 Lupulinae. Common name: Bladder Sedge, Pregnant Sedge. Phenology: (Mar-) May-Jul. Habitat: Bogs, fens, seeps, wet forests. Distribution: NS west to WI, south to c. peninsular FL and e. TX.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
