Carex molesta Mackenzie ex Bright. Section: [26q] Section 12 Ovales. Common name: Troublesome Sedge. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Dry to moist calcareous soils in calcareous glades and open woodlands. Distribution: NH west to ND, south to VA, AL, MS, and OK.
