Carex longii Mackenzie. Section: [26q] Section 12 Ovales. Common name: Long's Sedge. Phenology: Apr-Jun (-Sep). Habitat: Bogs, low fields, bottomlands, oak flatwoods. Distribution: NS west to WI, south to s. FL and TX.
