Chrysogonum species 1 . Ocoee Green-and-gold. Phen: Mar. Hab: Moist to fairly dry woodlands and forests. Dist: TN and SC south to GA.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Under study by Ed Schilling, Aaron Floden, and others; needing study to determine its distinctiveness from C. repens.

Synonymy : < Chrysogonum repens (Cass.) G.L.Nesom – Nesom (2020g); < Chrysogonum virginianum L. – FNA21; < Chrysogonum virginianum L. var. virginianum – RAB
