Cnidoscolus texanus (Müller of Aargau) Small. Texas Bull-nettle, Mala Mujer. Phen: Apr-Jul (-Nov). Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, sandy open areas, other dry woodlands. Dist: AR and OK south to sw. LA, TX, and ne. Mexico (NLE, TAM).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
