not marked as a favorite taxon Condalia hookeri M.C. Johnston. Common name: Bluewood, Capul Negro, Brasil, Logwood, Purple Haw. Phenology: Jun-Sep. Habitat: Thickets. Distribution: C. TX south to NLE and TAM. The Arkansas record reported in Gentry et al. (2013) is a misidentification and should be disregarded.
