Cyperus grayi Torrey. Gray’s Flatsedge. Phen: Jul-Sep. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, dunes, other dry soils. Dist: NH south to GA and Panhandle FL (Liberty County) (Sorrie & LeBlond 2008). Reports in the Piedmont and Mountains of NC, SC, GA, and AL appear to all be false reports.
