*Cyperus prolifer Lamarck. Common name: Dwarf Papyrus. Phenology: Jul-Aug. Habitat: Pond shores, marshes, ditches. Distribution: Native of tropical e. Africa. Also reported for se. VA (Kartesz 2010).
