Cyperus retrorsus Chapman. Common name: Pineland Flatsedge. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Dry woodlands, forests, and rock outcrops. Distribution: S. NY south to FL, west to TX, mostly on the Coastal Plain, but north in the interior to KY and se. OK; Mexico and perhaps Colombia (POWO 2024).
