Desmanthus illinoensis (Michaux) MacMillan ex B.L. Robinson & Fernald. Common name: Common Bundleflower, Prairie Mimosa. Phenology: Jun-Jul; Aug-Nov. Habitat: Prairies, open woodlands, barrens, marsh edges, disturbed areas. Distribution: OH, MN, and ND south to Panhandle FL, TX, and NM; with scattered adventive occurrences east and west of the native distribution.
