*Dianthus deltoides Linnaeus ssp. deltoides. Common name: Maiden Pink, Meadow Pink. Phenology: May-Jul. Habitat: Cultivated as an ornamental, rarely escaped to adjacent areas. Distribution: Native of Europe.

Origin/Endemic status: Europe

Taxonomy Comments: Another subspecies, ssp. degenii (Baldacci) Strid occurs in Eurasia (Fassou et al. 2022; Rabeler & Hartman 2005f).
