*Dianthus plumarius Linnaeus ssp. plumarius. Common name: Garden Pink, Grass Pink, Cottage Pink. Phenology: Jun-Aug. Habitat: Cultivated as an ornamental, rarely escaped to disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of e. Europe.

Origin/Endemic status: Europe

Taxonomy Comments: Another subspecies, ssp. regis-stephani (Rapaics) Baksay, occurs in e. Europe (Fassou et al. 2022; Rabeler & Hartman 2005f).

Synonymy : = Can, FNA5, Mo2, NY, Fassou et al (2022); = n/a — Pa, Tat; < Dianthus plumarius L. — C, F, G, Il, K4, Mi, NE, RAB. Basionym: Dianthus plumarius L. 1753
