Diphasiastrum sabinifolium (Willdenow) Holub. Common name: Juniper Clubmoss, Juniper-leaf Ground-cedar. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Forests and meadows. Distribution: NL west to ON, south to NY, ne. PA, and MI.

Taxonomy Comments: This taxon is derived from the hybrid of D. sitchense × tristachyum, but is often present with one or both parents absent; we therefore treat it here as a hybrid-derived species.
