Eleocharis macrostachya Britton. Subgenus: Eleocharis. Section: Eleocharis. Series: Eleocharis. Common name: Large Spikerush. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Wet ditches, marshes, shorelines. Distribution: QC to AK south to WV, AL, MS, TX, CA, and Mexico; South America. Mapping is especially conjectural.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
