not marked as a favorite taxon Eragrostis oxylepis (Torrey) Torrey. Common name: Red Lovegrass. Phenology: May-Dec. Habitat: Sandy roadsides, coastal dunes, and disturbed areas. Distribution: Nebraska and Colorado south to Florida, Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico. Scattered eastwards and of uncertain nativity. First reported for South Carolina by Nelson & Kelly (1997).
