Eragrostis

not marked as a favorite taxon Eragrostis polytricha Nees. Common name: Hairysheath Lovegrass. Phenology: Mar-Oct. Habitat: Pinelands. Distribution: From Alachua County, Florida south to c. Florida, southward to Mexico, Central America, and South America. The c. Texas herbarium records were based upon misapplied synonyms and hence are rejected (J. Kartesz, pers. comm.; 2024).
