Euphorbia species 5 . Hab: Mafic forests and woodlands. Dist: Sc. NC and nc. SC.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This taxon has passed in NC and SC as E. mercurialina since its discovery there in 1992, but differs morphologically and is disjunct from the endemic distribution of E. mercurialina west of the Blue Ridge.
