Eurybia saxicastelli (J.J.N. Campbell & Medley) Nesom. Subgenus: Heleastrum. Section: Radulini. Rockcastle Wood-aster. Hab: Boulder/cobble bars along the Rockcastle River. Dist: Endemic to the Cumberland Plateau region of KY and n. TN (Scott County, TN) (Chester, Wofford, & Kral 1997)

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: A hexaploid species (2n=54). The original spelling, with "-ii" termination, is in error and must be corrected under Article 32 of the ICN.

Synonymy: = FNA20; = Aster saxicastellii J.J.N.Campb. & Medley – C, orthographic variant; = Eurybia saxicastellii (J.J.N.Campb. & Medley) G.L.Nesom – K1, K3, K4, Tn, Nesom (1994b), orthographic variant; = n/a – F
