Flaveria

Flaveria trinervia (Sprengel) C. Mohr. Common name: Clustered Yellowtops. Phenology: (Jan-) Mar-Dec. Habitat: Marsh edges, disturbed uplands, waste areas around wool-combing mill, ore piles, seaport ballast, only a waif northwards and in some sites in the deep south. Distribution: Native of sw. United States south into Central America, South America, and the West Indies (Nesom 2004d). Known from ballast at Mobile, AL (Cronquist 1980).
