Distribution: Newfoundland and Labrador (Labrador) and Ontario south to Maryland, s. Pennsylvania (Rhoads & Klein 1993), Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois; nw. North America (where sometimes alleged to be not native); also in Eurasia.
