Gentiana clausa Rafinesque. Common name: Meadow Closed Gentian, Meadow Bottle Gentian. Phenology: Sep-Oct. Habitat: Forests. Distribution: Mostly Appalachian: ME south to w. NC and ne. TN, extending east and west to adjacent physiographic provinces.
